Things are looking up!!

I'm sooooo happy to say that i finallyyyyy have a job! i have been looking for one for agess and its so nice that ive finally been given a chance. 

Im so excited and it'll be so nice not being stuck in the house all the time.

 I cant wait to get money again because this time im determind to start learning to drive!!

Its in Claires Accessories which is so awsome as i love all the bits in there and i get a great discount, what more could a girl ask for! 

The only other proper job ive had was waitressing, now once you start waitressing its pretty hard to move to a different restaurant and everyone has their own ways of doing things!!!

It's gunna be soo good working in retail and its my favourite thing!

Me and my boyfriend mark have been struggling these past couple months as neither of us has had barely any money, which can put a strain on your relationship as were always stuck indoors! I cant wait till we start doing things again, going to dinner, to the cinema, going to the seaside, shopping and just general days out :) we used to do it all a long time ago but things have been quite hard!! its crazy to think how much this world revolves around money, cant do anything without it! Although its nice to know that our relationship doesnt just work because of money, we can be together no matter what.

 But thats all in the past now as everything is looking up!! :)

I start my new job on friday!! wish me luck everyone x

My MUM!

 My mum is the best person in the whole world! I could never ask for anyone better then her she is my super hero.

She is a nurse at a care home which is a very stressful job yet she still manages to come home with a smile on her face.

She's about hmmm 5"3 ish i guess, so pretty little, size 4 feet, again little and she is .... well i think she would kill me if i talked about her age!!

She's mad about walking she cant get enough of it, if she doesn't have her nose in a book she'll be trying to whisk me off to a national trust garden to go for a nice longggg walk, although from me she doesn't hear the end of it as i don't quite share the enthusiasm. She is so clever and talented in so many ways and never fails to try and motivate me to get out more even if she doesn't always succeed.

At the moment my mum has a new best friend, only thing is.... its a puppy! yep that's right. My brother and his girlfriend bought a puppy last year, Merlin, my mum absolutely loves him to pieces and cant wait for the next time he comes to visit, but the good thing is that he loves her just as much.

I'm still in the process of trying to persuade her to buy a puppy of her own (although me and my brother want a kitten!!) but she worries too much about everything, a mothers job i suppose.

She is so beautiful and inspires me everyday even though she doesn't realise, i have learnt so much from her and am sure i will learn much more. Thank you for everything mum i couldnt ask for anyone more special then you!!

My Creative Side

So here are some of the things I've doing in my spare time over the last couple of years. I hope you enjoy :)

Made this is one night, after a last minute decision that i wasn't to go to
my staff fancy dress party as the mad hatter.

This is the Turtle i made out of marzipan! to go on top of a 3 tier birthday cake my sister was making, i hope you like it, it took me 3 hours!!

When it was on the cake and all ready to go :)

Made this a couple of years ago, i know the picture is rubbish my phone camera sucks!!! very easy to make i used plain black fabric and put black lace over the top which makes it look nicer.

Close up so you can kinda see the lace, also the top a bit of roshing just by putting elastic thread in the bobbing and normal thread at the top of the sewing machine (I'm not the best at explaining)

My sister works in a pre school and for their summer fete 2 years ago i had a stall where i sold bags that i had made a home. I wasn't doing much at the time so had plenty of free time to sew.

But unfortunately not all of them sold, although i had a lot more then this to start with.

I made the badge from a tesco bag, they had ladybirds on them which i thought would make a cute feature, so i sewed some fabric around it and it actually worked!

And the back, in keeping with the pink!!

I made some aprons whilst over my Nanny's house one day, they are very easy to make but that doesn't mean that the have to be dull and boring!!

With fabric like this my friend said i could give Cath Kidson a run for her money, butttttt i don't think I'm quite at that level yet :P

Friendship bracelets, very simple when you get the hang of them, but they can be very pretty!!

Again easy to make but affective. All you need it the thread you want for the necklace some beads a few knots and tada simple as that :)

Well I'm sure there are some more things I've done floating around my room somewhere but for now this is all i could find. As you can see i very much enjoy making things :) i hope you liked all of my pictures and designs and why not try some out yourself!!! :)

I'm Charlotte, im 19 and i spend my time chiling and trying take every day as it comes and love my life (Y)

I have quite a big family, although as im getting older i dont feel as though we are. I have a sister called Sarah who is 25 and two brothers, James 27 and Phill 29. I love them all very much and am quite close to all of them in different ways. My mum and dad, Sue and Chris are amazing, im generally really lucky with the family i have.

Im pretty creative, have always done cross stitch and sewing with my nan so have just continued from there. I have made many things in the past and still do. I've made jewelry, bags, clothes, etc. Im also quite into cooking and am quite good with cakes, have made many in the past and only a couple of weeks ago i made a turtle out of marzipan for a birthday cake my sister was making for a friend. (will put pictures up)

Love reading and colouring (as sad as that might sound) and just really trying to have a talent.

I have a very, unique boyfriend, :P called mark who I've been with since November 2010. He can be very strange (in a good funny way) but still manages to make me laugh and smile. I love him so much and im so close with him and all of his family i feel as if their my own. He lives in otford where i spend most of my days with him.

We love nothing more then just chilling at either his or mines watching films and just being together.
